Chapter 4: Evaluating Uchiha Silver's Power

Three glaring figures that had been eliminated stood out strikingly in the records. Senju Wakana, as the son of Senju Butsuma, had actually been assassinated as well, indicating that this war had reached a heated phase.

However, for Uchiha Silver, whose identity had not yet fully transitioned, the idea of killing a child under ten was something he could not accept internally. Yet given the current situation, he could only take it one step at a time.

“The Yuhi clan has already taken out the third young master of the Senju clan; we need to step up our efforts!” Uchiha Houka said, looking at the people who were intently reading, deciding to encourage them.

“Is that really okay? To go after such a small child?” Uchiha Silver quietly asked Uchiha Ryoichi beside him, holding back his breath, which earned him a surprised glance in return.

“Aren’t you the most enthusiastic about this mission? You charged ahead, dragging us into danger, and we fought with the Senju clan for quite a while before we managed to escape,” Uchiha Ryoichi questioned in confusion.

Uchiha Silver thought to himself that this was bad. Although he had received the memories of the original owner, the time was too short and he was too shocked, causing much of what the original had done to be pushed to the back of his mind.

If it had been someone else, they probably wouldn’t have put themselves into the roles they had seen in movies; they would mostly view the plot from a bystander's perspective. Just because I saw him do it does not mean I did it.

Thinking of this, Uchiha Silver revealed an embarrassed expression, then pointed to his head, which was wrapped in several layers of bandages. “I got punched by someone from the Senju clan, my head hit a rock, and my recent memories have become disordered. I’m really sorry.”

Seeing Uchiha Silver’s injury, Uchiha Ryoichi expressed understanding; after all, given Uchiha Silver’s level, not being crushed into pieces by a powerful member of the Senju clan’s punch was already a blessing from his ancestors.

After blending in, Uchiha Silver began to calm down and revisit the original owner’s memories during a break in reading the documents. However, the memories from a few years ago were somewhat fragmented, like a stuttering old VCD playback, making it extremely laborious for him to view.

After a moment, Uchiha Silver came back to his senses, a faint glimmer in his eyes, which provided an explanation for his earlier reckless actions. Due to the war, Uchiha Silver lost his parents at the age of eight, and at that time, Uchiha Tajima, who had not yet become the clan leader, adopted him.

Two years later, Uchiha Tajima became the clan leader and married, often treating Uchiha Silver as his own. Uchiha Silver was more like a son to Uchiha Tajima than a nephew; with the birth of several children, Uchiha Silver, in his teens and as the “big brother,” took on the role of guarding Uchiha Tajima's wife and children.

However, war is cruel; the enemy's slaughtering blade does not stop just because you are a child. On the contrary, anyone who stands in their way, regardless of age or gender, is an enemy.

During one battle, the Uchiha clan's territory was ambushed by the enemy. Because Uchiha Tajima took all the young fighters to the front lines, only women and children were left in the territory, with Uchiha Silver remaining behind to protect Uchiha Tajima's wife and children.

Due to his inadequate strength, Uchiha Silver was knocked down by the enemy in a single encounter. The ruthless enemy forcibly opened his eyelids and cruelly slaughtered Uchiha Tajima’s wife and three young children right before his eyes.

“Truly useless, can’t even open your eyes. A waste like you is better off alive,” the assailant laughed mockingly at the ashen Uchiha Silver.

The enemy brutally slaughtered everyone in the territory, leaving only the numb Uchiha Silver, who had already screamed to the point of numbness. After all, such a person would pose no threat to them no matter how much they grew.

When the enemy left, Uchiha Silver, who had lost his soul, knelt among the corpses for three days, completely oblivious to the fact that the bodies around him had begun to rot and stink.

Later, when Uchiha Tajima returned and saw such a tragic scene, tears of blood streamed from his Sharingan.

In a twist of fate, Uchiha Tajima's eldest son, Madara, and second son, Izuna, had reached the age to go to battle, so Uchiha Tajima had taken them along this time, allowing the young ones to escape calamity.

However, for Uchiha Silver, the only survivor, Uchiha Tajima no longer pursued the matter. After all, in his eyes, Uchiha Silver had already been ruined by this trauma; living or dying was of no benefit.

“Although it makes sense, it still feels strange; these memories seem oddly orchestrated, and the tragedy is too perfectly logical, right?” Uchiha Silver complained helplessly.

In the original owner’s memories, the Uchiha clan did investigate that incident back then, but due to limited means, the enemy's methods were clearly disguised.

There were no traces of ninjutsu left at the scene; everyone died from external injuries, and the matter ultimately ended without resolution, becoming a cold case.

Although the original owner was a witness, he had no understanding of the enemy's attack methods; he only saw someone pull out a “weapon” from their body to kill, but because it was dark, he couldn’t clearly see what method was used.

Uchiha Silver, as a transmigrator, was different; having read through the entire Naruto series, he immediately recognized that the enemy was using their own bones as weapons.

However, throughout the series, the only ones capable of such methods, besides the ancestor Kaguya Otsutsuki sealed on the moon, were the Otsutsuki clan, who had been driven overseas by the Uchiha and Senju clans.

Thinking of this, Uchiha Silver's mind began to race as he started to ponder the insider information of this matter. “Since the culprit is the Otsutsuki clan, how did they infiltrate the Uchiha territory? Is there a traitor among us? Someone like Obito as a guide?”

Although he learned the true culprit of the clan's territorial massacre, Uchiha Silver did not have much emotional fluctuation; after all, he was not the original Uchiha Silver.

The most important thing right now was to understand his own strength; this was his lifeline. After all, the original Uchiha Silver was a character who couldn’t even defeat the ten-year-old Uchiha Madara before he awakened his eyes.

What level of combat power did this belong to? This made Uchiha Silver very worried. He then roughly understood the current division of strength levels based on the memories he had.

Since there were no later titles for upper, middle, and lower ninjas yet, individual combat strength could roughly be divided into leaders, elders, commanders, captains, and ordinary fighters.

This should correspond to: leaders - Shadow level, elders - pseudo-shadow level, commanders - elite Jonin, captains - Jonin, ordinary fighters - special Jonin, Chunin, and miscellaneous - Genin.

Uchiha Tajima, Senju Butsuma, and the leader of the Uzumaki clan, Uzumaki Nagato, as well as the leader of the Sarutobi clan, Sarutobi Yoshimura, should belong to shadow-level strength.

The second leaders and elders of various clans should be at the pseudo-shadow level of strength, which is the level that can fight alongside shadow levels after sacrificing their life force.

His captain, Uchiha Houka, having awakened the three-tomoe Sharingan, should be at a level between elite Jonin and Jonin, while Uchiha Ryoichi and others, who have awakened the two-tomoe Sharingan, are probably at the level of special Jonin or Chunin.

As for the original owner, it was somewhat miserable; he had remained in an unawakened state until now, his taijutsu was mediocre, his swordsmanship barely passable, but not strong, and it seemed his ninjutsu was only the non-lethal compassionate ninjutsu, “Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique.” The only thing he could show off was his decent shuriken throwing accuracy.

Overall evaluation: Miscellaneous...
