White clouds rolled across the azure sky, while a small wooden boat floated on the calm, blue sea.
Luffy sat at the bow of the boat, and Zoro leaned against the railing.
“We still need to find a navigator,” Liner said lazily, lying on the deck and gazing at the sky.
Luffy was taken aback. “What’s a navigator?”
Zoro: “......”
“A navigator is someone who guides the ship,” Liner explained to Luffy.
“It’s very dangerous to encounter bad weather at sea; we need someone who understands navigation...”
This was a serious matter; the unpredictable climates and sea conditions of the Grand Line were treacherous.
Even in the East Blue, getting caught in a large storm could lead to certain death.
Not even someone as strong as Gold Lion could stand against the forces of nature.
After a while, they suddenly heard shouting from a distance.
Speak of the devil, and he shall appear.
Looking in the direction of the sound, they saw a small boat approaching, with an orange-haired girl desperately paddling.
She was being chased by a pirate ship flying a black cat flag.
The pirate ship had a massive black cat head at its prow, and several pirates were on deck, angrily shouting at the small boat ahead.
“Bastard! How dare you steal our treasure!”
“Catch her!”
The person being chased was Nami. After stealing a navigation chart from Buggy, she had accidentally run into the Black Cat Pirates at sea.
As a pirate thief, Nami couldn’t resist sneaking onto their ship to steal some treasure.
Just as she was about to make her escape, she was unexpectedly discovered.
“Why is someone walking backward, you bastard?!” Nami shouted in frustration.
She was almost out of sight, hiding in a corner, waiting for someone to pass by to sneak off the ship.
But the person who walked by was walking backward!
Nami rushed out from the corner and bumped straight into him.
On the pirate ship, Zango heard Nami's angry shout and grinned with satisfaction. “This is my dance move; have I completely conquered you?”
“Conquer you my foot!” Nami desperately paddled her boat.
Suddenly, seeing a small boat ahead, she felt a surge of joy and shouted,
“Help!”
Seeking help? No, she was using a strategy to draw trouble away.
“What’s the plan, should we intervene?” Zoro asked Luffy.
Luffy stood at the bow, glanced at the shouting Nami, then looked back at the pursuing pirates, and suddenly smiled inexplicably.
“Everyone, get ready to fight!”
Saying this, he grabbed the bow of the boat, stretched his arms back, and launched himself like a slingshot towards the Black Cat Pirates.
Zoro grabbed Luffy's heel and flew out with him, while Liner stayed behind to guard the ship.
He had already recognized Nami, and her boat was slowly approaching.
“Boom!”
Luffy and Zoro rocketed towards the Black Cat Pirates like human cannonballs, instantly knocking down several pirates upon landing.
“Who are these people?!”
“Are they accomplices of that thief?” The pirates surrounded them, brandishing guns and knives.
A man wearing heart-shaped glasses and stylish clothes stepped forward and calmly addressed Luffy and Zoro. “Who cares? Just catch them first! Go!”
“Understood! Captain Zango!”
As Zango finished speaking, all the pirates immediately charged forward, and the battle on the ship erupted.
Since Crocodile designed his retirement three years ago, Zango had become the acting captain. Now, Crocodile's plan was about to bear fruit, and they were heading to Syrup Village.
However, they unexpectedly encountered a thief halfway, who had taken away most of their treasure. If they went to see Crocodile like this, they would surely be stripped of their skin.
Yet Luffy and Zoro’s combat power was nearly unbeatable in the East Blue, especially since the Black Cat Pirates had “lost” their captain Crocodile three years ago.
The first few pirates charged at Luffy and Zoro but were knocked back before they even realized what happened.
“What... what’s going on?”
“These two are no ordinary guys; everyone, attack together!”
The pirates’ expressions grew serious as they rushed forward en masse.
However, with such a huge power gap, their numbers no longer provided an advantage, and the pirates surged forward like waves, only to retreat again.
“...So strong!”
Nami couldn’t help but marvel at the situation on the ship.
Originally, she was just thinking of drawing trouble away, but judging by the momentum, these two might be able to wipe out the opposing team.
“Wow, so much money!”
Unbeknownst to her, Liner had already arrived on Nami’s boat.
He opened a bag on the deck, and it was filled with glistening treasure.
Hearing a sudden noise behind her, Nami was startled and quickly turned around.
A blonde man was crouching in front of the treasure she had just stolen, and she rushed over to snatch it back.
“Uh... Thank you for saving me, my name is Nami, nice to meet you.”
Nami was a bit flustered, hiding the treasure behind her and changing the subject.
“Then you’re too happy too soon.”
Liner, expressionless, extended his hand and made a gesture as if to take.
“I! Am a pirate, and I’m here to rob!”
“What?!”
Nami was shocked. There were three of them, a small boat, and they didn’t even have a flag; that was why she dared to approach.
And they turned out to be pirates!
Had she walked right into a tiger's den?
Taking out her three-section staff and combining it into a long staff, she warily watched Liner.
Nami thought to herself, “There’s only one of them; if I’m careful, maybe I have a chance to take advantage.”
Thud!
Thud! Two figures, one tall and one small, suddenly landed on the small boat, both wearing sharp cat claw gloves. The newcomers were the Cat Brothers, Sam and Butch.
“Jie jie jie.”
Sam grinned darkly, sizing up the two. “You dare to steal from our ship? Have you thought about how you’re going to die?”
Nami looked nervously at the two figures, and a thought flashed through her mind. She turned around and pitifully looked at Liner.
“Boss! They’re the ones chasing me!”
Drawing trouble away once more.
Liner glanced at Nami with interest; she was quite pretty but played dirty.
Taking his time, he lit a cigarette and mockingly glanced at the Cat Brothers.
“Your laugh isn’t going to last long, little brother.”
“What did you say?!”
Sam’s face darkened as he glared at Liner; it was the first time he had met someone who dared to speak to them like that.
He licked his sharp claws with his tongue, his eyes revealing a fierce glint.
“We are the Cat Brothers, with a bounty of 7 million Berries. Are you suggesting you want to have a go with us?”
“Tsk tsk tsk, licking your knife? That action is even shorter-lived, little brother.”
“Szz—szz—”
A sharp, piercing sound suddenly rang out as two figures walked out from the cabin of the small boat.
One was cloaked in a long coat, dressed in all black, with a twisted, menacing face, sharp teeth, and a long knife protruding from his forehead, with two more extending from his hands.
The other wore a white shirt, gray-black trousers, a tie on his chest, and sneakers, looking like a youthful teenager.
However, he inspired utter terror on the faces of the Cat Brothers and Nami.
The sharp, piercing sound had come from him, for he had...
Three terrifying chainsaws protruding from his hands and forehead!
“What the hell is that?!”
Nami exclaimed, collapsing to the ground, staring at the two demonic figures, her body trembling as she backed away until she bumped against the railing, suddenly realizing.
Gulp~
The Cat Brothers swallowed hard, their eyes filled with fear, staring at the two figures. At that moment, they had the urge to die.
It wasn’t even a matter of whether they could win; they looked too terrifying, especially with those three buzzing chainsaws.
“Just one touch and you’d be a bloody mess,” the two could only think this.
Liner took the cigarette butt and stepped on it, smiling gently at the Cat Brothers.
“Let me introduce you; this one is called Little Knife, and this one is called Little Saw.”
“So you two brothers have a bounty of seven million, right?”
“W-wait a minute!”
The Cat Brothers were sweating profusely, trembling as they retreated, unable to stop themselves from exclaiming at the two approaching demons,
“Don’t come any closer!!”
