As evening fell, Oil Girl Zhihui slowly returned home. Oil Girl Zhimi had long been accustomed to his late returns. Since he had always behaved very maturely from a young age, Zhimi felt at ease. In this world, being precocious meant being a genius. Take Uchiha Itachi, for instance. He participated in the Third Shinobi World War at the age of four and then went completely insane. At Zhihui's age, he was always able to sleep well. Moreover, he adhered to the principle of never carrying fatigue and stress into the next day, so he went to bed early. The next day, when he woke up, he was full of energy.
When Zhihui pushed open the door, he saw his diligent brother, Oil Girl Zhinao, standing there with parasites crawling all over his face. Was he already working on a scroll this early? Zhihui tugged at the corner of his mouth. Plus, he was about to experience a phobia of clusters! If this were an anime, it might be fine, but in reality, he found the scene too horrifying.
"Brother." Under Zhinao's control, the parasites crawled back in. The reason he was so diligent was because of Zhihui's teasing. He genuinely thought his brother would get himself killed.
"Time to eat." Zhihui walked towards the living room. Breakfast in the East is quite simple: rice, miso soup, natto, and grilled fish. Zhihui wasn't used to natto, so he never ate it. At the breakfast shop on the street, he casually bought two onsen eggs, rice balls, and milk. Zhinao looked somewhat puzzled. This was the first time he had seen Zhihui behave this way. Was he not full?
When they arrived at school, Zhinao suddenly realized something was off. How was this situation completely different from what he had imagined? He had thought that Zhihui would be shunned because of his actions yesterday, but instead, he was more popular than ever. Along the way, many people greeted him, clearly showing that he was well-liked.
"Kids are generally more pure; they only like what looks good," Zhihui said with a faint smile. One could catch a glimpse of this from the original Uchiha Sasuke. Zhinao was left speechless. It was such a realistic reason.
Entering the classroom, Zhihui glanced around. They had arrived relatively early, and less than a third of the seats were filled. Yamanaka Ino, Haruno Sakura, and Uzumaki Naruto had yet to arrive, but Hyuga Hinata was already sitting at her desk. "Zhinao, let Hinata come out for a moment," Zhihui said after thinking for a moment. Zhinao was slightly taken aback. Did his brother like Hinata? But he had seemed to enjoy chatting with Yamanaka Ino yesterday. Was he playing both sides? Zhinao reaffirmed his thoughts. His brother would eventually get himself killed.
Hinata had already noticed Zhihui and Zhinao. More precisely, she had noticed the latter. She had rarely experienced insomnia the night before, waking up early and still feeling excited and uneasy. The reason, of course, was Zhihui's invitation to her yesterday. Going out without telling her father felt like crossing a taboo.
"Hinata," Zhinao walked up to her and said, "My brother is looking for you." Hinata paused for a moment and instinctively glanced at Zhihui. But he was standing at the door, wearing sunglasses, making it impossible to read his thoughts. Hinata hesitated for a few seconds, stood up, and walked outside.
"Follow me." Zhihui didn't explain, just headed up the stairs to the rooftop. The rooftop was empty and very quiet. Zhihui stuffed the bag into her hands. Hinata tilted her head, confused. "Finish eating before going back to class." Zhihui didn't linger and turned to leave.
Hinata opened the bag in puzzlement, and when she saw it was full of food, her little face quickly turned red, as if she were emitting steam. Was this prepared specifically for her by Zhihui? Not only did he know she hadn't eaten enough, but he also considered her personality. Hinata felt dizzy, with all sorts of thoughts swirling in her mind. She picked up a rice ball and took a bite, finding it a bit sweet.
"There are no passive achievements." Zhihui sat in his seat with his arms crossed, a thoughtful expression on his face. Hinata had previously triggered a passive achievement related to food. Based on his experience, there should be more. After all, eating was one of Hinata's defining traits.
"Zhihui!" A familiar voice called out. Zhihui looked up to see Yamanaka Ino, beaming and waving at him. What passive achievements did she have? "The moon was beautiful last night," Yamanaka Ino shared her feelings. "It was so bright, as if it were made of jade." The moonlight was indeed beautiful? Zhihui glanced at her. Her golden bangs hung down, covering her right eye. He suddenly thought of that meme about donating eyes to those in need. Speaking of blonde hair, he couldn't help but think of Tsunade. He wondered if she would take him as her apprentice. He wasn't just for the kids; having Tsunade as a mentor would provide him with absolute protection in Konoha.
"This afternoon is the practical training class," Iruka Umino announced as he concluded the morning lesson. "Everyone, please gather on the playground punctually." Though it was called practical training, it was essentially a body technique class along with an assessment. Generally speaking, six- or seven-year-old children couldn't master ninjutsu. Iruka's goal was to understand their foundational skills. Students from ninja clans obviously had a better foundation. He focused on those from civilian backgrounds. Many students grew excited. Although the ninja school had many theoretical classes, the most important was the practical training class. This related to their future. Of course, kids didn't think that far ahead. They just felt they could go out and play. But there were exceptions, like Uchiha Sasuke. The practical training class would reveal who qualified to be his opponents. He hoped someone would challenge him so he could go all out. That way, he could earn praise from his dad and brother.
At a casino in the Land of Fire, "Lady Tsunade!" Shizune, holding a pink pig, pleaded earnestly, "Just stop!" "One last round!" The blonde woman was already red-eyed with excitement. "Big! Big! Big!" "I'm sorry," the attractive dealer said with a charming smile, "the points are low." "Damn it!" Tsunade clenched her fists in anger. Suddenly, she furrowed her brow, her gaze turning sharp. "Shizune, let's go." Tsunade stood up and left the casino. Shizune was left stunned. What was going on? "Come out!" Tsunade stopped in a secluded alley. "Lady Tsunade." An Anbu ninja appeared, presenting a letter with both hands. "This is from Lord Hokage for you." "That old man just won't leave me alone," Tsunade said, clearly impatient, but she still began to read. Soon, doubt appeared on her beautiful face. "Are you saying that old man is trying to trick me back?" Tsunade casually handed the letter to Shizune. "A six-year-old learning Chakra Scalpel?" Shizune's eyes widened. She believed she had a high talent for medical ninjutsu and had Tsunade's guidance, but she only learned the Chakra Scalpel after she turned twelve. Could it really be at six?!
