Chapter 11: Uchiha Clan Massacre

Time flies, and in the blink of an eye, two months have passed.

During these two months, Liu Sheng, as usual, split himself into two shadow clones every day to practice at home.

His main body would go to the ninja school, hoping that one day he would have a streak of good luck and learn something from Naruto, Sasuke Uchiha, or even Shikamaru Nara and the others.

During the holidays, Liu Sheng trained with Hinata and her two friends.

However, the training ground was no longer the woods far from the central street or other deserted areas; it was Liu Sheng's home.

When Hinata and her friends saw Liu Sheng's shadow clones, they were left dumbfounded, their beautiful eyes sparkling with admiration for him.

They originally thought it was impressive enough that Liu Sheng had mastered techniques that only lower-ranking ninjas would learn by the first grade.

Even Ino and Sakura's parents praised Liu Sheng as a genius and agreed to let them train with him during the holidays.

But they never expected that Liu Sheng would even master the Shadow Clone Jutsu.

This is a B-rank ninjutsu!

Aside from Hinata, Ino and Sakura didn’t even know the E-rank Body Replacement Technique.

Realizing Liu Sheng's true strength only fueled Hinata and her friends' motivation to train harder.

Just as Ino didn’t want to be surpassed by Hinata and Sakura, the three girls didn’t want to fall too far behind Liu Sheng, fearing that he would stop inviting them to play.

Thus, whenever the holidays came, Liu Sheng's home became a temporary training ground.

As for why it was a temporary training ground?

It's simple; Liu Sheng wouldn’t be going out to train during this time.

To be precise, he wouldn't go outside to train until after the Uchiha clan's destruction, and he wouldn’t take Hinata and her friends out either.

Because he knew that for a long time afterward, Obito Uchiha would be wandering around Konoha.

With the power of Kamui’s intangibility, Obito Uchiha was now the biggest bug in the ninja world.

He can’t defeat you, and you definitely can’t defeat him.

Even if you somehow manage to take him down once, he has Izanagi as a resurrection token.

Unless you have an exceptionally well-hidden independent space, there’s no place in the ninja world that can stop him.

Who knows if Obito might take an interest in them while they’re training outside?

Better safe than sorry; Liu Sheng didn’t want to draw the attention of those big shots too soon.

So during this period, Liu Sheng had to be cautious.

Finally...

That day, a special day arrived.

As the last class of the afternoon was coming to an end, Iruka suddenly announced, "Today there will be a surprise test; meet at the training ground after class."

"Eh… What’s this about?!"

In an instant, the whole class wailed.

Of course, this was the reaction of the students with poor grades.

Students like Sasuke Uchiha, however, brightened up.

After all, the grades from surprise tests also counted as 'credits.'

Liu Sheng was able to become the top student because he scored full marks not only on the major tests but also on the minor tests and surprise tests.

To take the title of top student next year, one would have to match Liu Sheng's scores in these tests, and if they could take him down and prevent him from getting full marks, that would be even better.

In this way, as long as they performed steadily in the upcoming exams, Liu Sheng would no longer qualify to compete for the title of top student after the major exam.

Sasuke Uchiha had been eliminated this way last time.

These minor tests and surprise tests were Sasuke’s chance for revenge.

Thinking of this, Sasuke couldn’t help but cast a provoking glance at Liu Sheng.

Coincidentally, Liu Sheng was also looking at Sasuke.

But Sasuke didn’t notice that Liu Sheng's gaze toward him was filled with pity.

If one were to say who the most unfortunate character in the Naruto world is, Sasuke Uchiha would definitely be among them.

Before the age of seven, he was the chosen one, born into one of the most prominent clans in the ninja world, with his father as the clan leader and his brother as a genius, and he himself was the reincarnation of a sage's son.

But after the age of seven, Sasuke no longer lived for himself; he became a vengeful spirit willing to give up everything in order to kill Itachi Uchiha.

After finally managing to kill Itachi and discovering the truth behind the clan's massacre, his thoughts of revenge and revolution were shattered by Naruto, and in the end, he was constantly running around the ninja world for so-called redemption.

Naruto and Sasuke, both reincarnations of the sage's sons, represent two extremes of yin and yang within them.

One suffers early on, and the other suffers later on.

No wonder their bond transcends friendship; once they turn human, they become an invincible pair.

Although Liu Sheng knew that Sasuke was about to become the unfortunate "brooding type," he didn’t remind him.

Such a major event orchestrated by Konoha's higher-ups was not something a small character like him could get involved in.

When the school bell rang, students rushed out of the school, while only the second-grade class headed to the training ground.

By the time the survival exercise for the surprise test ended, the sky had already darkened, and dusk was turning to night.

For the first time being let out of school so late, the students no longer played together as they usually did but hurriedly ran home.

Sasuke Uchiha was the same.

Watching his fleeing figure, Liu Sheng knew that this proud yet lively Sasuke would not be seen again.

The next time he appeared, it would be as a radical, extremely focused on family honor, the last remnant of the Uchiha clan.

After the Uzumaki clan and the Senju clan, yet another millennium-old clan would be gone.

In a few years, the Sharingan would become a legendary bloodline limit.

Liu Sheng felt a wave of regret wash over him.

After returning home, Liu Sheng had an early dinner, then took a bath and went to bed.

The next day, as soon as Liu Sheng stepped out of his house, he sensed that the atmosphere in the village had changed.

On the way, he could see villagers whispering to each other.

As he passed by, he constantly heard the name "Uchiha."

The news of the Uchiha clan's massacre had already spread.

It wouldn’t be long before the entire Land of Fire and the ninja world knew about it.

When he arrived at school, Sasuke's seat remained empty until the class bell rang.

"Teacher Iruka, is Sasuke okay?"

When Iruka entered the classroom, those female classmates who also knew about the Uchiha massacre immediately asked with worried faces.

Clearly, those who liked or had a crush on Sasuke were afraid that he had also died.

In response, Iruka comforted them, saying, "Don't worry, Sasuke is fine; he’s just unconscious and hospitalized."

"When he wakes up, I will go visit him."

Hearing that Sasuke was okay, the girls let out a sigh of relief and planned to notify the support group after class.

The young girls had no idea how much this incident would impact Sasuke.

When the cold-hearted Sasuke finally appeared, he would actually be more popular.

"I heard that the one who wiped out the Uchiha clan was Sasuke's brother."

"Really? Poor Sasuke!"

Ino and her friends were also chatting.

Liu Sheng, resting his chin on his hand, felt a secret sense of relief.

With the Uchiha clan wiped out, it meant that Obito and the Akatsuki would no longer wander around Konoha, and he could finally continue training outside.
